Micronesia - March 2004
This is the first time that we have done two locations on the same dive trip. We spent 5 days of diving in Chuuk (Truk) Lagoon and then flew back to Guam and headed to Yap to do 5 days of diving. We spent a day in Hawaii on the way over to get better adjusted to the time change and it sure helped. On the first leg of the trip we stayed at the Blue Lagoon Resort in Chuuk and the dive boat picked us up right at the resort. Dive lockers were right next to the dock which made it handy. It was surprising how much the wrecks have changed since my first trip to Chuuk. Salt water takes its effect on the wrecks. After 5 days of diving and a day to allow for out gassing we ventured on to Yap to dive with the Manta Rays. It was my first time to Yap and I was very impressed with Manta Ray resort and the diving.
