Bottom Time E-Mail News Archives

April 4 2003

Edition 5

It looked like we were going to have spring and here it is the 4th or April and there is snow on the ground and below freezing temperatures. Some of the ponds are opening up so if the weather turns around it should not be to long before all the lakes are ice free.
Browse our updated web site and see all the changes. tri-statediving.com  We have added pages on equipment and an Events page letting you know whets happening at Tri-State Diving.  We will be able to keep information more current on the site this year. We  will no longer be sending out the Bottom Time Newsletter because everything that is in there will be on the web site and this way we can keep things more current. According to the weather forecast for the summer it is suppose to be hotter and dryer than normal so hopefully the lakes will be warmer and clearer than last year............
Just got a call and had to leave for a few minutes to go and get a dog out of the water that went through the ice on a lake about 2 miles from the dive center.  Owner was happy and the dog will be OK but was very cold............
We have had many more items come in on consignment and the owners need to sell them as fast as possible so the equipment is priced to go.  Also we have marked some of our rental BCs down even more to move them out. Some priced as low as $150.00 for a BC retailed new for $450.00. WOW!!!
We have a nice line of Beach Towels that have been selling well.
Get a friend to sign up for scuba and get a Tri-State Diving T-Shirt. We have classes going in Fargo-Moorhead, Detroit Lakes, Park Rapids, Fergus Falls, Perham, and Crookston so check the web site to see which one works the best for you or someone else that might be interested in taking classes. The Perham classes will be on weekends for those of you that are unable to take classes during the week.
Watch for the posting of our Super Spring Sale in May and cash in on the bargains.
Tri-State Diving prides itself on the quality of service, the safety in our classes and how friendly our staff is.  We are here to serve you the diver and to assist you in any of your diving needs.
