We finally have summer and the lakes have warmed up nice. We had a lot of divers diving area lakes this past week and the temperatures are good and visibility has been good in most of the lakes. Lake Six has some of the best visibility within the twenty mile area. Two of the staff were on Bad Medicine and dove off the access and the visibility was about 18 feet. Lake Seven is running between 8 and 10 feet which is way below what it should be this time of the year. Two of us were spearing rough fish on Big Cornmorant Lake on Thursday and the visibility was about 12 feet. Pickerel Lake is in the 12 to 14 foot range. Let us know where you have been diving.

We still have a couple of openings for the scuba class starting this Tuesday and the class runs July 14, 16, 28 and 30. We will only have one more class this summer which will be starting the 11th of August.

We have decided to sell out our rental Force Fins and put new Force Fins into the rental program. Retail on the Pro XL and XXL now is $289.00 and we will sell the rental ones for $169.00. The originals in Medium Large and Large retail for $199.00 and we will sell them for $89.00. This is a good way for those of you that know what a great fin the Force fin is and have been holding off buying them, now is a great time to get them for such a great price. We have 3 pairs of ML pink, 6 pair of Larges Blue, 6 pair of XL Neon, and 2 pair of XXL Black. I am sure these will sell fast so if you are interested let us know and we will hold them for a couple of days for you.

With all the interest we have had in spear fishing we are going to run a spear fishing class within the next couple of weeks so if you have been thinking about taking the class now is the time to get signed up. Things covered will be types of spear guns, other gear needed, the target, loading and unloading the spear gun under water, spear fishing laws and where best to spear.

I will be setting up an Advanced Diver Class towards the end of the month or early in August. We are also going to have a Rescue Diver class and I will post that date in the near future.
