Surface water temperature last Tuesday was 80 degrees.  In some of the lakes the visibility has dropped but most still have good conditions. 

Those finishing their open water dives are Jesse B, Lynn W, Mark O, Mason O, Amanda S, Jon S, Terry M and Jordon M. Those finishing their Advanced Class are Adam M, Pat B, Chris R, Bruce A, Tom E. and Steve L.   Those finishing their Nitrox class are Doyle L, and Chris R.   There are still some of you needing to get your classes finished up.  We have had a request for doing a Rescue diver class so let me know if you are interested.

One first spear fisher had success last week and got a sucker.    Here is a picture of Pat with his catch

I have had a lead on another lake that is supposed to have good carp spearing so let me know if you want to give it a try. They said it would be best in the evening. I would like to run another spear fishing class so let me know if you would like to take the class.   

We are into the middle of Aug. so do not let summer go by without getting some diving in.  We have a lot of rental equipment available and diving has been great.  People renting gear that do not live in the area say we have the best prices on rental gear in the state. 

Ocean Reef is running their special on the Space Full Face Mask through the end of August.  It can be purchased with or without the Comm. System.  This is the best price we have ever had on their products.

There have been a lot of people inquiring about our Cozumel trip this winter so if you are interested let me know so we can send out more information to you.
