Bottom Time E-Mail News Archives

The lakes are freezing over in our area with ice varying from 5 inches to 10 inches.  I have not heard of anyone out ice diving at this time and we hope to do a dive after the first of the year.  Let me know if you are interested and I will put you on the list and let you know when we plan on making a dive.

Please make a point to get your certification card picked up as we still have a few left at the dive center from these last summer's classes.  We have gift certificates for those of you that do not know what your dive buddy might need for Christmas or stop out and we can help you decide what would be a great purchase for that dive friend.  We still have about 10 masks on closeout and one pair of Large Force Fins rental to sell at a great price.

Our website is about 90% updated and we are still asking you to contribute to our Looking through Tempered Glass by telling us about why you dive and what keeps you diving.  People coming to the website say that this is one of the pages they enjoy reading.

Some of the divers going to Cozumel in January are looking forward to their first ocean experience.  We will have seven going for the first time.

We still have a couple of demo Ocean Reef masks communication systems that we are selling out at reduced prices and the price includes training.  If you are not sure about diving in one we will let you make a pool dive to see how great the mask is to dive in.

If you are putting your gear away for the winter make sure you check each item for wear and tear and make a list of what needs to be replaced when you are ready to make that first dive this next season.

Have a Merry Christmas.
