The lakes are cooling down but are clearing up.  I still have a lot of cards that need to be picked up and the last batch should be in by the end of the week.

I have finally got the details worked out for the Belize Trip.  It has taken this long to get all the information from Glovers Reef Resort.   I am still looking at which option will be best and want recommendations from those that are thinking about going. Dates are Jan. 26 through Feb. 2
Glovers Resort is quite primitive which has its advantages and disadvantages.   There is no electricity in the cabins and you share bathrooms with other cabins.  We arrive on Sat. and take a two hour van ride through the mountains to Sittee River where we spend the night and take the boat the next morning to Glovers Reef Resort. We return to the mainland on Saturday and should be back at the airport around 3 PM so we can get any flights out after that.
Price includes: 12 dives and 1 night dive, transfers from the airport and back. One night lodging at Sittee River on Sat. night,  meals once we arrive at Sittee River and back to the mainland. Cost is $1356.00 per person.  Price does not include $15.00 park fee.  They have wireless internet and electricity in the kitchen.  Still working on flights and need to know who plans on booking their own flights.
The second option is Blackbird Caye Resort.  

The price also includes:

•  Round trip transfers to and from Blackbird.

•  Standard, Triplex or Duplex accommodations.

•  3 daily meals, buffet style breakfast and lunch and dinner is served at the table with choice of two entrees.

•  Tanks, weight belts, weights and air fills

•  Use of resort's kayaks

•  Welcome group cocktail party

Please let me know what you think about which site you would like to go to.  I know that the Blackbeard price is a little more but I think it is well worth it.  I need to know by Thursday for those wanting to go on the trip as both places are holding spots for me.  Boat leave for the island at 4PM on Sat. and leaves at 12:30 on the following Sat. for those that want to make arrangements for their own flights.  Looking forward to having you on the trip I will have flight and prices so you will know what the total package will be.
