Bottom Time E-Mail News Archives
April 23, 2013

It looks like we are going to start having spring after tomorrow with temperatures finally getting into the fifties. It is long overdue. As of today we have not lost any ice on area lakes.
Because of this we are going to host an Ice Dive for May 4.  Yes I said May 4 2013.  We are going to do it so we can say we made an ice dive in May.  What a “cool” dive to be able to put in your log book. The weather report shows it could be in the sixties so we will not need to put up the structure.   With the good visibility we are having and warm temperatures this could be a great dive.  If you would like to join us for this maybe once in a lifetime dive give me a call or drop me an email and join in on the fun.  I need to know numbers as soon as possible so we know how many to plan for the event. We will plan on leaving the dive center at 10 AM.
Our Super Spring Scuba Sale is set for Saturday May 25 and we will have all new merchandise marked down 20%.  We will have door prizes and some other things going on that day.
Here is the dive tip for the week on how to save air. Dive More
Inexperienced divers are famous for burning through their air supply at a furious rate, so one of the best diving tips for saving air is to simply dive more often. You may not be a new diver, but unless you dive almost every week it's still an unnatural activity. By diving more, your body will get used to the idea, and you'll breathe less.
I am looking for individuals to work in the dive center this summer.  I would like to get 3 to 4 so that we can set up a schedule that everyone can have time off for other things going on.  If interested please let me know as the season is not that far away.
