Bottom Time E-Mail News Archives
July 27, 2015

We are into the last week of July and we still have plenty of great diving weather left so join us on one of your Discovery Dives.  While diving in Big Elbow Lake a week ago I found a few bottles and Saturday I finally got a few minutes to clean them up to see where they came from and what they contained.  Two were 6 OZ Coke bottles, one from Fergus Falls and the other from Bemidji.  The third bottle had Queen City Bottling Works     Crookston, Minn. embossed on the bottle Contents 6 ½ FL. OZ.  I have some people following up on this trying to find out more on the history of this bottling works company.  If anyone knows anything about the company and what the contents of the bottle might be let me know.
We finally have a date set for the Rescue Diver Class and that will be August 15 here at the dive center so if interested give me a call or email back so I can get you on the list.
Those of you that have not finished your checkout dives please call and get them set up so you do not have to pay late fees.  Eight have to complete all their dives and six have to complete their boat dives.
For those interested in going to Lake Superior we still have some openings and for those that are committed we need to get a $100 dollar deposit as soon as possible to hold your spot on the trip.
We are looking for reports on diving conditions in area lakes so let us know where you have been diving.  Reports in area lakes for visibility are:  Lake Six is between 10 and 15 feet, Big Cormorant lake is running about 12 feet, Sybil Lake is in the 14 foot range.
